Okay, instead of mucking up the whole "SHow-off" forum with all sorts of WIP graphics threads, How about I just post all new ones here?

Marble is seemingly more applicable I think a different colour for the text and the stroke and they would look fine. Maybe white with a black stroke although I am not sure if it would be easy to read.

 

That was the original color choice, but it didn't seem to work well:

(You're right about being closer to marble. :doh: )

 

I prefer those but it is harder to read, anything over a strong marble effect will be hard to make out.

 

I agree with Partyon, the marble effect is going to have to get weakened some how or its always going to be hard to read

 

I may give up on the lighter one, but here's my last try at these for now:

Theyre not very pretty but that is much clearer now! Maybe try a lightning effect instead of marble

Actually, I could see this as some sort of smilie.

 

Oh, the animation is pretty nice.

 

You could possibly use this type of graphic as an affiliate image. Many gaming sites I'm sure would use this with the appropriate text inserted. Reminds me of some affiliate images I did a while back that proved popular.

Some nice designs, some i find too busy if that makes sense.

For most forums I would agree with you, but for what I have in mind, these are perfect.
