If you go to a community, you see ads. Well, these ads help pay for the forums and help them maintain their running-ness(?). So, do you think ads are really...upgrading? Or are you still against them?
Maybe? Maybe not! Just depends on how much I really like the forum. And, my number one motivation for upgrading and becoming a premium member would be to support the forum owner/admin and not just to get the ad-free forum experience. Thinking about it, an ad-free forum experience might actually be worth the small amount of money spent on a Premium membership or upgrade to a site.
Depends on how the advertisements are added, if they are like all over the place and getting in the way of the content, then I will not bother helping them and just keep ad-block enabled. If they are in reasonable places, then I'll disable ad-block and maybe click on them now and then
Yea same here, if they have ads almost everywhere and they dont care much for their users then I surely wont help them out, I will stick to adblock to do it's job and block the ads.
