    Hi dear someone! I'm attempting to develop a new piece of forum software (demo page, and intro text).

    It's intended to work well also when a topic becomes huge, e.g. 1000 comments — because the interesting comments automatically surface to the top of the page.

    But feedback so far is frequently that people don't like to scroll horizontally, although one simply needs to click-and-drag on the background to scroll. Easy in my opinion. — Is it people's habit that is the problem? Or am I mistaken when I like the 2D layout and the freedom it gives?
