I use Hotmail and I think it's the best one because of the layout I love it so much. Also I can't really stand the other ones so Hotmail is definitely the winner for me.

GMAIL is good although its smart SPAM plugin gets on my nerves as sometimes I don't seem to receive expected emails at all, they're not even added to SPAM. Admin Talks verifcation email itself was sent to the SPAM box which is pretty irritating but I guess you get used to it. I'd prefer some form of protection over no protection.:)

You can see screenshots and a video of the interface here: http://www.getmailbird.com/home/

While Gmail does have a nice interface, you have to have your browser open all the time to be notified of incoming mail - I was looking for something that could run in the background all the time and give me notifications, which is what Mailbird does.

I use a lot of them. MailChimp is one to send out mass mailers, for my personal use, I'd like to stick to gmail. Outlook is nice, but doesnt give you the feeling of using a light weight application.

For email clients I use just gmail or outlook, haven't used the windows Microsoft email clients. Gmail is pretty easy to use as is outlook and would prefer that over anything else, was thinking about trying some other sort of client and see how well that works. My work is cut out for me in searching for the best one here, wish me luck in finding a good client that I can work with. I'm hoping that whatever I try will not disappoint me and maybe I'll have good experiences with it. :)

I use the gmail interface. However, I agree that if google were to release a version like MS Outlook, I would be one very happy person. Outlook makes my computer lag really badly, so I don't tend to use it. I enjoy the web interface of gmail, anyway.

I've several different ones. I don't like the newer look and feel for Outlook so I stopped using it a long time ago. Mozilla used to have one that I really liked. I tried another one that I don't remember what it's called but I remember that it eventually didn't meet my demands. I've tried the one by Netscape and that one ran much smoother for me.

Using email clients is more useful in business than it is for the average user. I keep all of mine on the web servers. Since I have email that I check from more than one web server, I don't find it useful anymore to have a client.

You are right with that. In fact I never used an email client before. I begin using one after joining my last job. I then got to know Outlook and shortly after that I got to hate it.

While I understand the appeal of e-mail clients, I do not use one because I like G-Mail's inbox design. If you have Verizon e-mail, I can understand why you would use Outlook, but unlike Verizon, G-Mail doesn't litter your inbox with advertisements. They do have some, but they are not annoying like Verizon's and Yahoo's.

I'm still with Eudora, using several versions since 1994. Easy backup, stable software.

Most of the old internet users like Microsot Outlook because that time it was the best but current time is for Gmail, most of the new users first choise is gmail because it is user friendly and also features are effective. If a person using Android phone than gmail acount is must for him that is the other important reason of its popularity.

I use Postbox. It is a lot easier than having 421 different email windows open lol

I check all my emails through gmail, because It does what I need it too, and I never really seen the point of using a email client, other then it taking up space on my PC.

Now I'm using Outlook less every day. I got a BlackBerry phone and I configure my work email address there. Now I check my email there and only open Outlook when I ran into a trouble viewing the message on the phone.

I liked Outlook better than Outlook Express. Suddenly all the options that its predecessor had were GONE! I was so mad. Outlook Express has even become mandatory for some jobs and because of that I can't apply to those. It's not user friendly at all. I used to like best one that was made by Mozilla. It's not available anymore but that thing rocked.

I currently use Gmail, and I'm happy with it. However, I like Outlooks interface, but when I try connecting my account via SMTP, I have a lot of archived messages that are read that Outlook classifies as unread, taking forever to sync the first time.
