For the last few weeks I have changed my signature of VB.COM to the following... "Don't like the direction vBulletin is going? Let Bob Brisco know! 800-692-2200" every few days someone has been removing my signature.
Well just a few moments ago I got an infraction from Wayne

Little does the asshat know that the number I posted is NOT a violation of personal privacy, its the main number for Internet Brands as posted at http://www.internetbrands.com/contact-us/

It does not violate any rules of the vBulletin community.
    What a joke.

Or say Contact Internet Brands instead of Bob Brisco... who sounds like a wrestler...

Yeah, I'd say to do this. Because while I don't condone Internet Brands and their practices, I can sort of see why someone might think you're infringing on another person's privacy by posting a phone number and saying it's theirs, and they shouldn't be expected to Google search every number that comes up to figure whether it's public or private.

Just say that it goes to the company themselves, and in theory there shouldn't be much trouble.

I agree a link may be better.

Really though the antics of the support staff whose job is to SUPPORT the members = VB customers, is akin to high farce.

Their unethical and immoral actions are reminiscent of schoolboy bullies. "you do as we say or we will take your toys away. nah nah."

It is no wonder that they have become a laughing stock across the internet.

This seems to be popular on this forum to get banned from vBulletin.

It's only popular because they made it popular.

It's to be expected on a forum where you can speak your mind when they're forum is ruled with an iron fist.

Well I got banned last night for posting this thread here.. (Not even on vb.com) and the ban reason was for questioning a VB.COM moderators actions on a Public Forum.

    Geesh...

I got a renewal notice for my branded Forum Runner app this morning... I don't think I will be renewing it. ;)

    wow... that's is ridiculous.

They have no business policing other forums for what people have to say.

Wow, looking at what people say elsewhere and banning them for it is ridiculous.

I've always thought of it like:

What's said at another site stays at another site and shouldn't affect how you treat someone elsewhere.

I just confirmed with Zachery from vb and he said it wouldn't of been from something said on anther site..

    https://twitter.com/vBZachery/status/337254955243155456

Also I actually thought I was talking about @sukagwe in regards to my Twitter post about being a bit dramatic... my bad @SatGuyScott

Either way there would have been more to just a post on this site that would of gotten you banned on vb.com. ;)

I didn't say anything else after I got the infraction except here and now I am banned for questioning moderation in a public forum.

Oh well, I have about 40 vb.com accounts so no big deal. :)

    Actually about 25.

Whenever I setup vBulletin for someone I had them make me a vb.com/.org account and plus my own accounts as well. :)

Well, you'd better hope they don't check IPs and ban your other accounts. That's what a lot of forums would do if they thought you were a trouble maker (not that you actually are).

Let me get this straight. You were banned on vbulletin.com because you started this thread?

If that is a fact then I guess we all better watch what we say on other sites or the big bad vbulletin staff will ban you. Talk about overstepping your bounds. Whoever did that and I have an idea who it was sure must be feeling good about themselves about now. It must have been the highlight of their year.
