I wonder if any of the devs and helpful people will come back to xenforo now that the lawsuit is over. For example I saw a thread asking @ragtek to come back. I know many users loved his addons. I wonder if Brogan will stop by again. So.. will they come back
I hope they will. XenForo's mod/developer community seems pretty strong compared to that for other paid software, and the return of these guys could be what's needed to outdo IPB and the like. Addon developers are rarer in the paid software world and were historically one of vB's strengths, so them working on XenForo again would be a god send.
I doubt many will come back. things may appear to be positive now but after a year almost of silence or whatever, stuff that has a long-term affect on people. I know if i was a developer i wouldn't give it a second chance.
I'm just a bystander, but I would be pissed off about the silence. In all of this, that's what has made me mad and not make me want anything to do with them.
Surely vbulletin license holders will now flock to Xenforo. Its already starting. Developers will follow the money.
@Brandon arent most of the devs members here? LOL We should just ask them their plans. Might make for good interviews
Not even money, they need to get everyone to be in knowledge of the fact that the lawsuit is over. They'll be back, it's only a matter of time. They'll be back.
I think we have now got a hell of a team, considering as a whole development team, moderators team, addon-developers team and xenforo customer team. All working very hard and in cooperation, I cannot imagine where XenFore will be in a year.
Same here. Looks like xf is whole again and hopefully they can pickup where they left off. I'm interested to see what xF 2.0 will bring vs IPB's Suite.
I see @Mythotical is back on xenforo setting up his mods again I'd like to see the DB Tech team make the jump back over, I know they were around in the early days but went back to the vb side when the lawsuit started up.
