Do You Put Widgets On Your Forum/Blog?

    Do you all put widgets on your forums? I have put a few but not too many. Do you think it helps?

    I'm assuming you mean sidebars? My site has a fixed width so any such things would have to be horizontal, so at the moment no. Why not post your thoughts on the ones you have and if it helped yourself?

    I sometimes do. I don't usually have many on a forum at all. I don't see much use for them.

    On blogs, though, I will use widgets to show top commentors, ads, links to my other sites, etc. I still don't overdo it, but I like having a handful there.

    Only in the index, and with the option to show/hide them. That way nobody has to feel 'forced' to put up with them. Like them? Keep 'em. Don't like them? Hide 'em.
