Linking page with banners, buttons, etc

So, how many forum owners here use a linking page on their community? Such as, having banners, buttons, and links so that users can help promote your site.

I built a forum thread on my community that gives users multiple options for promoting.

For those that already have this page - how much has it helped your community?

Another good idea would be to have AIM icons, or wallpapers as well.

 

It's a good idea and it's something I'm definitely going to look in to.

Works for me, what's the error you're getting? It's the same link on my nav bar as well, and I haven't seen any 404 errors in my logs.

We had one on vbsetup, I need to get one for both my current forums.
Just need to get a few banners made

 

I didn't at first, but I'm starting to see a lot of forums do it.

So, seeing it, I made it a point that CODForums do it, too.

 

It's a good idea to also link to the page in your signature on your forum. I have no idea how many users use our banners but I know it works.
