What do you want in vB 4.2.0?

What do you want in vB 4.2.0? I read a fair bit on LCF forum on vb.com and there is not really anything new about this. There was a thread but it died off.

 

I just want fewer bugs, that's really all.
Performance improvements would be great as well.

 

I would like to see them implement an alerts/tagging feature. It would be nice to have it instead of having to implement the plugin to run it.

 

I think it will have more bugs if it has new features.

I would like to see vBulletin support Image Sprites. (without the need of a Plugin from vb.org)

When I check my site at http://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.satelliteguys.us/tHMdOZs9 the biggest issue I have is "Combine images using CSS sprites" which I am graded a F.

I would be VERY happy if it supported Image Sprites.

What Brandon means, is that half of the bugs that were in the older versions seems to creep up in newer versions of vB4. That means, whenever you upgraded, something else breaks.

 

Its an endless process.

 

Ya, dumb developers. The bugs should be fixed before a new version is released, but I guess they could be money hungry.
