VigLink is great for monetizing your forum or blog for mobile viewers. It is compatible with both ForumRunner and Tapatalk and I believe you can install it for normal browsers as well. Basically it uses many affiliate networks and you only have to go to one spot to monetize all of them. You can also set it to write over anyone else's referral links so that no one else can monetize your site except you. I have heard many people say they make more from VigLink on their forum than they do from AdSense.

I've been using viglinks since 2007 back when it was called Driving Revenue.
I've made a decent amount of money over the years, it's not bad for something that the members don't even see. ;)

I use Skimlinks. Viglink has a maturity issue with some of their owners and developers.

Oh ya, that's the first time I've heard that but I haven't been looking either.
Can you expand a little on this?

I won't name names but one of them specifically acted like a child on another forum I am on when things did not go the way that he wanted them too.

Would it work well for a niche forum though? I've been eying Viglinks or Skimlinks for a while, but haven't had any thoughts of implementing it based on the fact I don't think it'll have any advertisers for my niche and such, but I could be wrong.

    Oh okay I see
I think both of them are very close to the same product and would work on almost any website.
On Viglinks you can have it automatically insert links like in the first post of this thread, that 2nd link was added automatically.
I also like that it's built into tapatalk.

Vigilinks seems interesting. I was skeptical because when you have a forum you want to discreetly have the links posted so that it does not interefere with the users experience. From what Brandon says, seems like it is. I'm going to give Vigilinks a try. Hopefully I can bring some extra revenue in :)

Be careful if you are hiding the links, you may be required to disclose that your are affiliating your links.

I disclose it in my TOS and Privacy Policy. I just link out to that Viglink page.

Well, I've got an account for Viglink set up and I'm waiting approval for Skimlinks, is Viglink better? Think it'll pay a decent amount if I put it on my websites? Because at the moment, Adsense pays pretty much zilch when it works and fails to show up the other times, so I might as well give this thing a try.

Inoflinks isn't the same as the other two. Some people claim more money from Skimlinks than Viglinks. From my experience, Skimlinks has paid more.

I guess my impression of infolinks is wrong then, I don't use them, I just thought they worked the same basic way as skim and vig.

Its very hard to compare because factors are different and its real hard to get a apple to apple comparison. From what I have come to understand, Viglink is better in the US, but Skimlinks is better for fashion type niche.

Also - Amazon just shut down paying EU customers of both companies.

Im hoping that doesn't become a trend.

Amazon stopped paying people in Connecticut a few years ago and shut down their affiliate program here just because the state was THINKING about adding sales tax on online orders.

I use Viglink but its strange, as each month I get two payments from them 1 small one from Viglink and then another payment from Driving Revenue. I thought Driving Revenue went away a long time ago, do know why I am still getting separate payments.

It really depends on your community. My members are always linking to songs on Amazon, albums, free music promos they get via email. You get a good benefit there because if someone clicks through for a free MP3 and later purchases something your cookie is already set and you get commission. eBay is another decent source via VigLink my members are always linking to equipment auctions and such. I've always made some $$ when a member clicks through to some random equipment site that Viglink covers and I would've never thought of affiliating.

The past few months my income from them has basically been a tank of gas or two. I'm not complaining but I'm not raving over it either.

I am doing $800 per month with Viglinks on a forum that is only 10 months old. I might do a write up on my techniques if people want.
