What would the internet be without forums?

    So, I was recently thinking about this and I'd thought I'd ask you guys about it. What do you think internet would be without forums? Meaning do you think we'd still have a lot of social sites or?

    I think if there was no forums or forum software, then we would probably all be on Facebook chatting or something

    We wouldn't have been able to put our opinions and ideas in a constructive manner, let alone receive constructive feedback as we do today.

    What's worse is that we could never find someone captivating through our own opinions, constructive tips, feedback, criticism, etc. as we do now.

    Actually, myspace came before Facebook and was quite popular with their forums - you sure people wouldn't still be on Myspace?
