Do you invest all site earnings back into the site?

Let's say you're selling advertising or making money from advertisements - are you investing all site earnings back into the site, or keeping some money to yourself?

Or do you do both?

 

I'd say all money made goes back to my site currently, as I earn more, I will probably start to pocket it myself

 

What's the monthly income rate where you'd start pocketing?

If I earned more, Ill be tempted to spend it all lol, I am not very good when it comes to Finance

 

I Invest it back into the community, and if it comes a point in time where I have enough for the community and make extra income alongside than I would keep the extra income as profit where I could invest in other things (Possibly creating a network and buying other forums).. basically that's when it would be a business.

 

Everything I earn from donations and subscriptions is used to pay for my servers.
Adsense earnings are my own.

 

How much are your servers cost? Do you pay in months advance or no?

This how I do it:
100% of donations and subscriptions goes back to the site
90% of Adsens and other advertizements goes back to the site

 

that's a good way to do it

 

This is almost the same set up I have.

 

I'd say for the first few months/years its best to invest everything back into the site.

 

I only reinvest a part of the money I make with my websites back into the website. The only running costs of my websites are domain names and hosting bills. However, I try to invest the money in other projects to have my eggs in as many basket as possible.
