Many times. On Advertising Mania after about 6 months we closed, I gave away the forum about 8 months later I took back control and had a revamp then about 2 month later we closed and revamped the forum then 1 month after that(now) we revamped again this time hopefully should be the last we revamp because we needed to next time we hope we revamp because we're going to make the site a lot better not because if we don't the forum will die.

No. The first revamp it was for that reason, the two after that it was because the forum was dying.

I think as far as changing up the skin, board names, etc, if memory serves me right I believed we only revamped completely once. I'm pretty sure it was just the one time at the moment. Who knows what will happen when the new release of phpBB comes out... this could be interesting.

Just once, when I came back to AdminBB after a long 3 month break, and it was basically dead as it gets. Took me about 2 months to gain it all back. It was worth it.

Yea, and it's all paid off in the end  I've lost count how many revamps I've done, but I estimate that PH alone has gone through at least 4, ranging from a new style, new plans & new support board

Two, our move which most are familiar with was out first and that was stage one of our awesome plan to get back a great forum. Then our theme change, which happened a few months back which also introduced a few new features and organization. That's all the 'big' ones I can recall. I thought it's all worth it :)

Why not, good job with it. You should always look for ways to revamp your forum, it does help. I like the theme you are using on FM.

I love the theme as well, it could use a more attractive 'upgrade' though. It's always good to switch it up every few months :)

I've revamped my community about 5 or 6 times. Mostly when I changed the name, because I would change the theme as well.
Just don't change your forum often as some members get upset when things change.

Sometimes its not good to change all the times as lucas mentioned it might get members upset.

When I owned 360ELites, we re-vamped the site 4 times in 2 years. We started off on myBB, then revamped as we moved to vB for a year (and did another re-vamp in the middle as we went to vB4), then again to MyBB (with a new custom theme).

Yeah, it's around a revamp once every 6 months. There were obviously little changes between each revamp as I fixed and altered things that didn't work correctly.

I have just had one big revamp so far, they do help. But I have had a couple of theme changes. I dont plan to change the current one we have as its premium and I love the way it looks.

Yeah, I really like it too. It's easily one of the best xF ones I've seen so far.

I haven't really been looking tbqh. I've just seen some really bad ones when looking around.

PS: cheers for fixing those posts ;) That's the one downside with xF - the AJAX is cool most of the time, but when your internet connection dies, you have no idea if the post was actually posted, so you hit it again when it comes back haha
