I'm greatly looking forward to the release of 3.2.0. It looks very promising and I'm also curious to see what this other 'hidden feature' is that they claim to be working on.....hmmm.....

The unannounced feature is probably related to that new "is_touch" variable in the JavaScript. Maybe it will support multitouch gestures on smartphones?

Regarding the topic title, I am pretty damn excited. It makes my 3.1 boards feel old :(

Oh my god I honestly cant wait. I surely will buy a license for it. Its pretty nice when I tested it by joining the official IPB 3.2 demo board. Im happy they finally implemented the Rich Text Editor.

There's been an RTE since 3.0, this one is just on by default and powered by CKEditor.

Yea I know, and im pretty sure XenForo uses the CKEditor as well.

I ended up selling my IPB license for a MAJOR loss, I wasn't too happy with the software. I like XenForo much better.

XenForo uses TinyMCE. I like IPB's new editor a little more because it isn't as flat looking and there's a button to easily disable WYSIWYG.

Should have just kept it, I'm liking 3.2 more than XF so far.

Yea sorry for the confusion xenforo does in fact use tinymce which I often confuse with ckeditor sometimes. But I do like the layout of xenforo's editor much better.

Cant wait til it updates officially. I have been waiting to renew my license until 3.2.0 is released.

IPB seems to be imitating XenForo in some aspects with their new version.

Yea IPB did take ideas from it, but that is common. Kier and Matt Mecham are friends and they both have mentioned they like friendly competition. (Unlike vBulletin)
