Ever since I starting using HawkHost's Refferal System I have just gotten 2 singups so far without recommending it to people, just by having the small image at the bottom. What about you?

I made a few before I directly started offering VPS Sales off my website, but other than that, not really

Yea I see, and now that you have your own hosting it wouldn't be a good thing to still be in the referrals program and advertise the host which resells you the hosting or people will just buy directly from them instead from you.

Ive come to the conclusion that making money on the internet is too much work for VERY little in return. I work a full time job and a part time job on the side. I don't need to worry about "working" on the internet in my free time too. *faints*

Yea thats why I dont spend my time on ptc sites or doing surveys or anything of that nature, just the referrals program of my host which I dont put effort in trying to get people to use it. I was surprised to see I got the 2 signups.

My current host also has an affiliate program and all customers are automatic affiliates. However, Ihave not yet promoted it because the rate is just a messy 15% of the total amount paid. Anyway, I am not actually complaining as I understand the rate -- this is just a cheap host.

Ive gotten two or 3, but a lot of them are cancelled or the payments are yearly so I dont benefit much.

This is also why I don't spend money for anything like posts on my forum, referalls, etc. I have a part-time job myself, and while I do get requests to pay for some things out of my own pocket, I don't want to go that route because shopping online is hardly trustworthy as it is. So that definitely would not be for me at all.

I am, though it's hardly worth it. I don't advertise my link or anything, but I constantly get 1 new cancelled signup per month >.>

Well I get more if its an yearly payment as the person pays a bigger amount, and if its monthly I get paid less.
Yea it is, thats why I removed my HawkHost affiliate banner yesterday, barely got 2 signups and all this time they just got free advertisement from AdminBB which other people would have paid much more money for.
