Do you find yourself posting and checking up on your forum from time to time from your mobile phone or iPod?

Recently I have found myself doing just that, posting from my iPod and checking up on AdminBB from my mobile phone from time to time just to see if things are going as planned when I am not at home or cant use the computer for any reason.

I pretty much always use my iPod. I don't have very much access to computers and my iPod is easier to access. It may be slower at times, but I still enjoy it.

Yea, I should maybe re-add the link to the navbar so members can be aware of it.

I don't usually do this, unless I'm away without internet for more than a few days or don't have my laptop with me

That would be havoc if I couldn't be on for more than 3 days, specially after my long 3 month leave so I cant afford to have days like that. How nice is your mobile browser? Does it display everything properly?

I'm glad you've got a mobile theme here, I'm definitely going to be using it :)
I do find myself checking my forum often from my iPod, even with my desktop in front of me.
I agree Opera Mini rocks, I'm so glad that version 6 got released in the App Store recently. It's just got some problems with check boxes, and of course Opera's general CSS problems.
Still, there are times that's it's faster than Safari for me, though I've installed a tweak to speed it up a bit.

Yea mobile browsing is becoming more and more popular, I do use my ipod say when I am laying down and just feel like resting and not being on the computer. And yea Opera Mini is great, its the best.

I often used to check on my own forum when I was on holiday or off doing something in another part of the country before I shut it down. I usually use my Android Tablet though (I tether it to my phone via bluetooth) as the bigger screen and the touchscreen keyboard make browsing a lot better.

I tried doing this on my cell phone once, but with all the ads and crap that we had, my forum looked absolute rubbish on my cell phone. If I have to do without checking up on my forum, I'll wait until I'm back home on my laptop. At least it looks nicer on my PC than on my phone. The logo doesn't even look half decent on my phone, and everything else just looks like one huge list of latest topics, board announcements, and it just looks overall messy on my phone. I don't mind doing facebook on my phone, even though that doesn't look too much better, but at least it's tolerable, but I'd much rather look at my forum when I have my laptop with me. Actually, this goes for all forums I post on, not just my own. Some sites have way too many graphics and stuff for a cell phone to handle, so it can look really crappy and messy.

Well it really depends on the type of cell phone you have, and its browser.. if your phone is a very basic one then most likely it has a crappy browser.

Yeah, it's not an Android or anything like that it's fairly basic. So the browser is kind of crappy. In fact, the only site that looks even half decent on there is Facebook.

Thats probably because of the mobile facebook version, which is very simple.
