So what's your thoughts on Free Speech on forums? I respect and allow free speech but some people like to take advantage of it and cross boundaries. How do you deal with it?

I allow users to talk about whatever they'd like, as long as it doesn't break the rules, and that's not allowing personal attacks. You can't reply to everything a member says though, it happens on forums all the time.

Yea I agree, but sometimes members like to cross lines, and use it as an excuse for breaking rules.

I don't mind free speech, as long as it does not violate the forums rules and does not cause a flame war between members with different opinions, etc.

I don't mind free speech. It won't make me mad unless it starts a problem, breaks the rules, or goes too far.

Yea I agree, if a forum doesn't allow free speech then I am not going to be apart of it. I have seen many forums that will delete your posts or anything if you disagree with anything while still following the rules.

Hey allow free speech only to an extent, they have to remember than the owner/admin still has the say as he/she owns/runs the forum.
