There can be many ways to Keep track of troublesome members, such as writing it down in notes (if your forum has that), or just by issuing warnings/infractions. Or like me relying on memory.
So how do you keep track of troublesome members?

If we only have one troublesome member, then I'm usually fairly good on relying on my memory skills when it comes to past offenses and what steps need to be taken next, but if it's more than one member, then I usually have to rely on my other staff members, since they're on almost more than I am sometimes and can remember more.

Yea, I keep it in my memory as well, but say if you had a forum with 200,000+ members than memory cant really do much. Then its best to use infractions/and or write it down. Another good thing to do would be to create a sticky thread in the staff area and just list members there to watch out for.

Well yeah, if and when we ever do get really active, then I'll probably take advantage of the Notes feature in phpBB, but for now, since there isn't as much to do, it's not too bad.

Same here, we dont have too many too deal with so memory does the job.

Usually a thread in a staff board - which can only be viewd by staff.
The thread then lists any members that are troublesome, and what their offence was.
Keeps it simple but easy to monitor all members at once.
