The title says it all, have you ever made any style for any forum software? If so, what was it, and why did you feel like developing & releasing it?

I know of one administrator in particular that does his styles all from scratch, all totally customized, and I would love to do something like that for Chatting Time, so we don't have to modify the free themes all the time. Sadly I don't have the html/CSS knowledge required to do such a thing. I'd consider having someone make one for us, but everyone seems to want to be paid for that kind of service, and since I'm not running a forum for the sake of earning a profit out of it, it'd be pretty pointless and a waste of money to pay for a custom theme when I'm not in this for the heck of making a buck or two.

Then why do you have ads on your forum?

That was Ashley.S.'s idea, not mine. It's to help cover the cost of his hosting and stuff like that. He asked and I agreed, so really that's all they wrote, I guess...

Mostly all it is is to cover the cost of hosting, domain renewal, etc. Nothing more and nothing less, and I can't afford to pay out of my own pocket, so really adverts were actually a must on both ends.

Yes, all ads and ad related enquiries go to myself to help pay for the server, etc. If I got excessive amounts from it, then I would split the money between PH and additional things for CT and probably pay for a complete custom style or use it to upgrade to Xenforo.

Back on topic: I've made styles from pre-made templates available on hand, and just tweaked them for my needs.

Yea I wouldn't count customizing a styles as making them, but if I did than instead of having 4 styles made I would have 8 or 10.

Done 2 in my time but were exclusive styles, I keep getting asked to design one but can't find themotivation to do them.

MyBB is great, you should get into styling it, I might also. But I have gotten rusty, havent used MyBB in awhile.

I haven't, MyBB is easy to code, but the process takes forever. Especially since I'm a novice at coding. But I have edited some.

I never made any themes but I plan to learn vB's styling system so I can start.
