something else I would say: This is like trolls, don't give them the satisfaction of replying to their threads, etc. just report it and leave it at that as there's no point in so much drama really.

Yeah saw that, lame excuse saying they bought it from someone and they're the victim. While possible, there's a higher chance they just ran a nulled copy and really who spends that much money without checking to make sure they get the license?

Xenforo EULA doesn't allow sales anyway I believe.

I think nulled scripts are wrong - the software isn't so pricey for a forum owner, and if you're running a nulled script, then your forum doesn't belong on the web.

I agree... its not fun either to watch someone using a nulled forum, while we had to pay.

Ya, its wrong and takes money away from the software company - but how can you tell if a forum is nulled?

The footer copyright Hyper-links get removed so its just plain text. And it also ithas a file in the forum's root called validator.php which people usually remove now to avoid getting caught.

I hate it when people use nulled scripts. I hate it even more when you read takedown notices from vBulletin, they don't sign it so it's hard to know whether it's a "legit" notice or not. Wish they'd add in a clause or something like DMCA notices have (I swear under penalty of perjury etc...).

Yeah no excuse for running a nulled script, especially when it endangers your users. For all you know passwords, emails, etc could have been uploaded through a backdoor on the site to the person that nulled it.
