I have been gone from the forum for about 3 months, had family problems. I was unable to come on during that time, and also my computer was broken... 3 months was enough to kill AdminBB which was once a very active forum. Well now im back and I plan to restore AdminBB to the active growing community it once was.

During my leave AdminBB was running Xenforo 1.00 Beta 6, a very old version... but now it is running on Xenforo 1.00, the first stable release. Because of the major update backwards compatibility was removed so older plugins and mods were unable to work. So I removed all the plugins, and installed the new ones.

For the past 8-10 hours I have been working on improving the forum. The updating and the mods, and template edits, and other things took a while as I was making major changes to the forum. You may have noticed our new theme, I thought it would be a key ingredient to help bring the forum back to life, as others may have gotten tired of the old theme.

Last but not least I would like to thank the AdminBB staff and especially Ashley.S. for keeping things calm while I was gone, I would also like to thank the few members who still came on despite the forum's lack of activity. Thanks everyone!

I would like to take the time to welcome all of our once active members back to the forum so we can get AdminBB back on it's feet, and restore it back to the active community it once was.

Nice to see you back, Kaiser. Are you going to bring the old theme back, though? I kinda liked that one better.

Well to answer El canadiano you can change the theme from "Flexile Dark" to "Flexile". That theme is a lighter theme. The tab to change themes is in the lower left hand corner.

I think this revamp is great, and could maybe go further. For those who are not too keen on the dark style, I noticed there is a light style BUT it does have some bugs present in it :(

Also doesn't seem like you've uploaded the images to Flexile (I know my way around XenForo well enough now).

    Haha thanks
Btw to install flexile dark you have to install the original flexile xml, and then upload the flexile dark xml as a child. Thats why.

As pointed out in the thread, there is a light version currently being worked on for those who are not lovers of dark themes

Oh, Flexile Dark is a child of Flexile? Didn't think that had to be the case (though I do know the other themes are children, though).
