AN open source FORUM+SOCIAL NETWORKING Hello friends,my ABB mates, I have been googling all days and recently i found some thing new,in my search. it is called DISCUZ an open source forum with a network in built in it. it is a chinese forum,in that language,i thought we cant use it. again googled for engish version and i found this. what is in it? is there anything new? well to this question i have a single answer,its like a free xenforo,ajax and jquery based php platform,gives a good forum experience that is rather new. Discuz is a product of Comsenz, it contains Forum, SNS, Portal, Group, Applications(Open Platform). how is it different? well the look is first of all awesome,forum categories side by side in rows is its main specialty from outside. from inside: the profile system,plugins,all are awesome. you say its chinese,how can we use it? yeah i have joined a site called distown where those guys translated the software to english. they release the updates,plugins too. download from there. can i have a demo? yeah sure: here it is: click me Hope you like this software,and use it in your next projects. the site which i linked as demo has the software in english version,indeed they r the ones who created the english version. and one thing they have 2 types of product one is discuz 7 and other discuz x discuz x is 1.5 and has a myspace like social network in it. hope i helped you guys.
I guess it's one way to get members & posts, block attachments to guests as all the download links I find on the site you need to be a member and reply back to that thread in order to obtain the download...
