You can now ignore forums in the "What's New" search

It was suggested a few times to allow you to ignore some of the forums we have on this site. I have merged a few sites into it since I took over a couple years back. One big one being the General Forums website that I ran, it had over 300,000 post, a lot in the what you now see as the Lounge. It did have a great deal of technical chat along with server and internet discussion along with other sections that we’re able to incorporate into Admin Talk.
You can access this option to ignore these sections in the What’s New navbar link on the left by mouseing over your Name in the navbar, you’ll see a popup like you see in this attachment with a link saying” What’s New?”.




Check mark the forums you don’t wish to see when you do the “What’s New” search and hit save. J
You can still access them and will get alerts if someone tags you, but you won’t see the chat from those forums at all when clicking the What’s New link anymore.

It's missing usergroup options, but that's about it

So now that we have this option, I've been thinking about enabling the ebay and amazon RSS feeds so I can make a little money with the site again. You can find it in the Marketplace subforums.
The last time I had them on was when I had a forum under vBulletin

So you might want to go check mark that forum right now if it isn't selected.

 

In all my years on forums, I have never seen this option anywhere.

Is there a link to this mod/plugin somewhere? I would love to beg for it from recommend it to some other forum owners.
