Where/how do you advertise?

    Other than through ad networks like Google AdWords, where (if anywhere) do you advertise? Blogs? Other forums? How does this direct privately-managed advertising work for you?

    My main form of advertising/promotion is through youtube videos. If I want a little extra traffic, I'll blast out some videos to about 8 video hosting sites.

    I think it works out pretty good.

    I'm looking into advertising with Facebook.

    Otherwise I don't have any real advertising. I do have links from the majority of umpiring related blogs I've found Including one in Norway I found linking to me from reading my analytics. I thought that was cool.

    I base all my biz on SEO ...not spending on advertising any dimme ...

    • Wear t-shirts with ads
    • Use bumper stickers and magnets on vehicles
    • Sponsor local events and activities
    • Trade brochures and links exchanges with other businesses if it benefits both of us
    • Give away cards with special coupons
    • Word of mouth
    • etc.
