I use Attracta a free service traffic tool built into my Cpanel from my host. Doesn't seem to make a difference though.

    • Get In Google
    • Link Building
    • Google Blacklist Check
That's all it allows me to do.

What type of links is it finding you? You know there's a difference between quality links and those of quantity? You need a lot of quality links in order to rank well with Google. Have you tried to get some bloggers to write about your forum? Have you wrote about your forum on other forums? Do you promote via signatures by any chance?

Links are very important and without them, your site will have a tough time having good rankings on Google. This also goes for any other search engine on the internet.

Well, you do have a lot of forums. Why don't you cut them down and merge some of them together? Your forum is still new, there's no need to have more than 5 forums when you're just starting out. You introduce new forums as time goes on and people start joining. That many boards are a turn off because if a new user sees a lot of empty/not posted on forums, then they don't join nor post.

    Especially your computing category.

If you haven't made a thread yet, I'd suggest starting one here with some details about your forum.

It sounds like you know little about SEO, so it's hard to make any suggestions. If I was you I'd do some reading, at least on the basics of SEO, that way you can figure out where to start and if you ever decide to hire someone or a service to do some SEO for you you'll be able to determine a good one from a bad one. I have seen so many webmasters buying SEO services that have no knowledge of SEO and a lot of times it can cause them to do more harm than good to their site because they bought a lousy service.

You should try getting back links to your forum. A good way is getting bloggers to write of your forum or even try guest blogging. Or try to put your signature on other forums and also post your link on them.
