For me its simple. Its the amazing great people. So much wealth in information on topics like vb4 and vb5 and now new expertise in XenForo.

Thanks to Admin Talk I have learned so much about forums and starting my own sites. Knowing which hostgator plan is the best is very important!

I am excited to launch my new site cats-jump-and-meow.org , a site dedicated to orphaned cat adoption from countries like Kenya and Nigeria where cats don't really have an opportunity to find a good home.

Thanks AT for making my dreams come true!

What do you like about Admin Talk?

The people that visit here and the knowledge they share.

Funny thing is I asked Brandon about selling this site shortly before I bought AA. If he would have accepted then I would never have bought AA. Strange how things work out some time.

I love that people start threads without using ALL CAPS in the titles.

Seriously though it's an ok site. I came here because of Brandon whom I have known for many years from way back in my vBulletin modding days. I think it would be better if Postloop was dumped. It's hard to know who is making a credible post unless I have known them for years. Most of the time I read a couple and have to hit mark read because a lot of it is post count generated fluff. You get to know the usernames. I understand the reasoning I just don't think it works very well in the end. And we're supposed to all be admins technically. Maybe some are but most aren't.

Other than that there are many people I have followed for years on this site and I enjoy reading and commenting on those posts.

Postloop is dumped. At least the banner is gone and I found no mention of this site in their forum list.

One of the best things about AT has been the ability to post without the censoring we see on sites like VB.org/b.com.

I hope this continues. Time will tell.

I love the fact that I can comment Paul M.'s posts without to be banned from him :)

One of the signs of a good site is when you can disagree with the staff without fear of retribution, politeness assumed of course. I always felt that with Brandon and I hope it continues. Never felt that at vBORG. We're all admins we all have differing opinions.

I love it here because of the garden variety of trolls.
Unfortunately, Paul and Mark aren't around any longer.
That pretty much killed the fun.

Indeed, that being said, honestly lol, at first I thought Admin-Talk was acquired by Amazon.

Between this and Adex and TAZ, i like the feel here :) I like all 3 but i always come here first when i get into admin mode each day simply because It's definitely a laid-back and chill community. This is is why it is one of the only 3 admin sites I visit. Though it is obviously XF Bias here hehe...Not a lot of ipb fanboys/fangirls :)but it is a great site!

Ya, I noticed that there's a lot of vBulletin haters here, myself included because it was so slow and bloated. I love how much traffic has risen since Ive moved to Xenforo and we average more members/guests online on a daily basis now. Our rankings have also gone up a fair bit, so I love XF.
