I guess it all depends on if your site has been requested to be looked at from the archive, and here is a good look at an old popular host when they first opened in 2007: http://web.archive.org/web/20070202024707/http://www.freeforums.org/

Facebook cannot be crawled or displayed due to robots.txt.

I had fun with this site on another forum. It's awesome to see how sites that have been around for so long have changed since their infancy.

Well if you read what I mentioned, you wont find your website unless its been around for a couple of years.
Yes indeed, just a fun thing to look back at and see how far the website(s) have come.

Chatting Time's hardly a year old yet, so don't expect that one to be indexed until the first of the year in 2012, unless it's indexed already. As we have had the archive.org bot visit our site when we opened up, which was awkward because we were still setting up and then later posting. Unless it takes like a sort of snapshot as you make changes and revamp your site throughout time?

I dont think it will end up there unless its atleast 3-5 years old from a guess by check out forums that have been around for 2 years and not finding them archived.

Mine hasn't even been around long enough to have any changes anyway, so I didn't bother checking, but I remember checking the other site I admin on before and it was cool to see how much it had changed (including our "upgrade" from vB3 to 4) over the past three years. :)

I know I had a blast checking out older sites like Forum Promotion back when they were no Freeforums.org. It was just a blast to read all the old feedback requests for changes and what-not to the forum. It's funny how when you're on a free hosted forum like that, people don't always realize that you can't add everything you want when you're on a free host, and it all boils down to limitations and what you are and aren't allowed to have on the said host.

I remember just laughing like mad when I checked out some of the things members were requesting back then. It really is hilarious how people don't realize the limitations of free hosting, even back then! But I suppose back in 2007 there were probably some people way ahead of FP and already on paid hosting at the time, so naturally these people were used to doing whatever you wanted whenever you wanted, and that is pretty understandable. But to read that lovely sentence that the guys couldn't add some of their suggestions because it had to be approved for all forums on that host was just downright hilarious.

I love this website. I've spent a few hours just looking through different websites I used to visit on this site and it's quite comical.

I also saw your post on FP about what it looked like, it's cool seeing how far it's come.
