Really long forum index full of stuff. Doesn't feel very welcoming and the forum's coloring is very cold.

 

Thank you for your comments. Would you have any colors in mind for me to use? I wanted a minimalist design (non-forum) since my design is geared towards cleaner looks, but I can surely pick an idea of two.

 

Warm or earthy colors. Minimalist doesn't always mean black, white, and gray. I guess think my avatar.

It's hard to say you're going for minimalist when you have that wordy and long sidebar.
