Starting a new fileshare forum

    I am starting a new community. I will have a lot resources and links so I need to choose the best forum software for that kind of forum.

    I will share movies, songs, games, tv shows, web resources etc.
    I need a good Download System and stable software.

    MyBB

    It has a nice default style. I like it. Tons of plugins. Good community and extra support.
    SEO is good. Admin panel is very good. MyBB is easy to customize.

    vBulletin 3.x

    Very good software. Very good SEO, very good default style. Everyone love vB3. I love it but it's old.

    XenForo

    Very light default style. Good SEO, fast and stable. Very good download system.

    What is the best forum software for big files and which forum software has the best SEO (MyBB, vBulletin, XenForo)?

    Have you looked at IPB. They have a download app and if you choose to sell files later you can plugin Nexus for billing. With IP.Content you can build a link directory fairly easily. If you don't want to do that there is a real good addon link directory you can use.

    I have very good knowledge with IPB.
    About 2 years moderating and supporting members on Invision Virus.
    But...IPB has very bad SEO.
    I need good SEO for my forum :P

    I have just launched XenForo demo. I can say I will use XenForo 99%.
    AWS, can you tell me what your members think about default XenForo's style. Is it too bright? Can they use your forum during the night? :D

    I would like to use IPB 3.4.8, but it has poor SEO.
    IPB has the best skins I've ever seen..
