Well phpMyAdmin 3.4.0 has a brand new design, thought I'd share it with you guys. A Big major improvement considering how ugly and plain phpMyAdmin was. Alot more user friendly now. Try the demo.

It's about time they spiced things up a little bit, I'll look forward to seeing it in cPanel in the near future :)

Just browsed the cPanel forums, apparently it is planned for cPanel 11.32 as cPanel 11.30 has just gone into production within the CURRENT branch (BETA)

I would'nt go as far as to say that, because as long as it serves its purpose, who cares what it looks like? but I do think that the refreshed style and new UI is a step in the right direction to modernisation

It really doesnt matter to me if I have the old one of this one as it does the same thing just a different look. Just that the newer one looks better, and the UI is friendlier.

Looks good. I always feel like I am going back into the 1990's when I am working with phpmyadmin

Meh, I'm still not a fan of phpmyadmin - it still feels outdated with the use of frames all over. it does serve it's purpose, but there are better alternatives.

I know right? Finally its time for a upgrade!
It does not bother me much as it does its job. But I remember when I was new to it, it was so Damn confusing.

Finally, a sleek and simple design that is not horrible to look at.

I agree, it does...now I got to get used to the new layout since cPanel pushed it through in one of their updates recently
