All I can say is its about time Google put some effort into Youtube. It was going downhill and being surpass by many competitors.

I'm particularly amused by the rather ridiculous amount of immature feedback given to them.

I've got to say, not only is that showing their immaturity, but they're just shooting themselves in the foot. Had this been an organized petition to stop the change or give them an option, then it might be taken seriously.

But saying "ZZZOOZMMMMGFFGGGGG I HAET YT AN WILL LEAVE 4EVAR" and posting large amounts of ASCII-art, is probably not the best way to go.

On-topic: I do actually love the new YT channels. It makes it look a bit more... interactive.

Yea, I got a notification of the new channel layout about a month ago. But decided not to try it out.

I really dont care "what" the channels look like. Its more to the point that people do not like change. And that is probably the reason for the big uproar.

I don't think they are bad but I wonder what YouTube will do.

I hate the new channels myself, they break out in 1024x768 which I wouldnt be too happy about plus youre no longer allowed transparency so your background shows through and now your channel cant be just that little bit more unique.

It is nice but without those features and that bug fixed I will always hate it :)
