Karma? Larva? huh?

so! what is this karma thing? and this larvae thing, i went from abductee to larvae, hmmm, interesting???

 

Karma is given out by mods. If they like your post (or you in general), they'll up you a point or two.

Larvae, Abductee, Xenomorph, etc. is your rank. The more you post, the higher your rank. Currently, I think that Xenomorph is the highest non-mod rank.

...and yes, those are user ranks. There are 12-15 of them, I forget how many I made at last check. Xenomorph is not the highest non-moderator level! It's a mystery!

Custom user ranks are available upon request if you wish to have one. However, it will stick and not change while you post more and more.

From my understanding, even though you've probably already realised it, karma is Alien Soup's answer to <horrific forum site's name censored>'s kudos.

 

::sigh:: What I *meant* was that *currently* Xenomorph is the highest non-mod rank. So far, I think that I'm the only non-mod to hit 1,000+, so no non-mod has a higher rank than me. I didn't mean it was the highest attainable non-mod rank. Make sense now?

you can take karma away? hmmmmm, that's no good, well, for the person getting de-karmanated .
