I thought I would create a thread in a subject I know about.

A lot of people tend to go about investing their own money into other peoples websites and ideas. investing is usually always a high risk because you never know how things will turn out. No matter how solid the plan can be.

In my personal experience, usually things have turned out for the better. Unless I was just helping the person out more of a friendly gesture then an investment. However, as time goes on I can't deny some investment gone spoiled.

Have you ever invested some of your own money into other peoples websites and ideas? How did it turn out for you?

If not, would you ever like to get into it? Why or why not.

 

I never invested any money into someone else's ideas, but I'm planning on investing a lot of money into my site, and I'm both excited and nervous about it. I'm going to start with $95 on advertising next week, and continue investing on a weekly basis when I get my pay cheques from my full-time job.

 

What specific investments are we talking about?
