Well, what a surprise that I saw in my email this morning. Apparently, LiquidWeb is now giving out free bandwidth to all their clients.

See this image for more information

k found it at their blog http://www.liquidweb.com/blog/index.php/introducing-free-bandwidth/ looks like it isn't an upgrade but pricing policy change

upgrade would be like 10TB quota customers getting 15TB quota now

but it's just first 5TB free which I guess is still a big deal for customers using <5TB per month !

    10TB looks expensive though.

wow configuring a server from liquidweb has sky high prices

    • E3-1240
    • 16GB
    • 2x 1TB 7200RPM SATA raid 1
    • 10TB
    • Gigabit Uplink
    • WHM/Cpanel
    • US$639/month !!! or US$389/month with the free 5TB bandwidth
    versus

    my $99/month

    • E3-1270
    • 16GB 2x1TB 7200RPM SATA raid 1
    • 10TB
    • Gigabit Uplink
    • US$99/month and US$32/month for WHM/Cpanel

Liquidweb sounds like a complete scam to me.

Those prices are pretty high for 15TB's worth of space.
That includes a server that costs your rented house to configure.

Nah I'm better off with the plan that I am on over at http://www.cloudaccess.net which is $19.95 a month for unlimited usage of their services.

Yeah but I am not talking storage space George. I am talking about bandwidth.
A forum that I used to post on who has recently moved from vBulletin to Xenforo had a hell of a lot of bandwidth issues. Everytime you posted up a youtube video or a gif the site would get error messages.
