    That's what you think.

In all seriousness, I think creating a mascot for this community would be superb.

I've been thinking of a mascot for my up and coming forum and have spoken to a toy maker who will be able to build the toy(s) on a large scale if needed. I'm negotiating the price at this time and hopefully the plans I have will commence sooner rather than later. ;)

We have been using the following graphic in lots of our promotional banners for example:

Custom mascot toy? Now that sounds truly awesome Shelley. I hope you'll share pics and tell us how it's figured into your promotion :)

What about not only getting a toy, but also having someone dress up in a costume that looks like the mascot? I think that would be great!
Oh, and what would be even better is if we had a contest of who could take the best picture with the costume, that would be so cool!

I like the mascot I have in the works on my newest forum called, "PasteYourTaste". My username there is/will be 'Tyler' and the mascot's name is 'Tastey'. I just think with the double T and the double Taste, it flows well from both angles.

The idea came 5 minutes after I created a certain smiley thread and introduced two characters who violently stick their tongue out and thrash it up and down. It's mainly for myself but if it gains interest then I have the option to have it construct in bulk at a good price thus passing it to the customer at a good price.

I've not pursude it as much as I like but I'll be haggling to get the best pricing if their is indeed demand. There's other areas I need to look into and research on before It becomes a commercial product. :D

I'll give you two guesses what their names are? :D;)

One of the sites that I'm working on has it's own hand-drawn mascot(s) and logo, which I didn't do. If it were my job, they'd be poorly-drawn stick figures. Still working on the site, though, but I plan on implementing them in a few places besides the header.

I think adding a mascot to my site would be cheesy and would not sit well with our members lol.

What are those things anyway, OneUpDave? Malevolent lemons?

    Evil lemons. :D

The community was named EViL Gaming, or Every Villian Is Lemons (from Spongebob). Just yesterday, though, they merged with another community, but I still want to incorporate them somehow.
