Entertainment Community Name

I have decided to create an new forum focused on entertainment (Movies, Television & Music) and now I need an good name for it so any suggestion on what i can name this new site?

 

Maybe you could use movietvcommunity.com or something like that.

 

No I don't like names like that I want something unique.

 

How "unique" would you like this name (and the domain) to be?

 

It should be unique but not to unique it should be something that you relate to entertainment like Sevent (Sev Entertainment) or something but that domain was taken already.

 

That's a tough one. There are so many entertainment communities out there you should find some niche or unique feature to promote. Frankly when I see "sev" in conjunction with TV and movies I think "sever" as in horror. Is that a niche you'd be interested in?

 

No, I don't want any special I want all genres.

 

Then John, it's going to be extremely difficult to come up with a creatively unique name. If you were willing to delve deeper into the overall genre (i.e. a specific movie, a specific show, etc), it'd be much easier.

 

Yes but I have done specific sites on an show and I don't wanna do that.

 

It wouldn't have to be based around a specific show or movie - that was just one of the examples that I provided. If you really want to create a general entertainment discussion forum, you're going to have to a) have a uniquely different custom skin designed for it (to set you apart from the rest) and b) be willing to devote large quantities of time promoting and advertising.

Yes I know that, its not the first forum I creating .

But I don't really have any problems exept getting an good name for it.

 

I'm aware of the fact that it's not - I'm merely saying that it will be a bit difficult to find a name for such a broad subject. Let's see what some of the members here come up with.

 

More than a year ago, I was a founding member and super moderator on a movie forum that was well on its way to success - it was called "Popcorn on the Floor". It was doing well, and would've been a hit, but the owner decided to close it down.

I love the name and have always considered trying to relaunch it myself, but I never really put that much thought into it. If that domain is available, I don't think it'd be a bad choice for you.

 

Don't really like that name either.

I am very picky when I am choosing domains and names, that is an curse :p

 

I remember that forum, wow. I joined when it was literally brand new and wrote a very long suggestion thread in the feedback forum (I think).

I like the name, too. John, maybe that's an option.

And Nick, I've been curiously experimenting with some kind of music/movie/TV/general life forum myself. If you ever have the urge again, you know who to come to.

 

Tried to take sevent (Sev Entertainment) and changed a little so backwards you could have retneves doesn't really sounds like an entertainment forum :p I also came up with enterves (Entertainment Sev) but that doesn't sound like it either :p

 

movienight.com? popcornandbutter.com?[I hate popcorn], movieticket.com? backstageshow.com?

 

don't want any name that makes it look like only an movie community but thanks for the suggestions.
