    I'am running vb 3.8

How do you deal with thousands of bounced emails? When I send out the monthly newsletter, I might get 1,500 bounced emails back. A lot of these are from older accounts, say 2+ years old. But some of the bounced emails are from accounts created only 2 months ago.

When an email address bounces, I have been editing the members accounts, and setting them to "Not receive admin emails." But I have over 2,500 emails to go through.

How do I handle these bounced email accounts? Surely there is a simpler way to deal with this issue?

Yea, I have read that article before, its a good write up.

But you do not explain "how" to deal with the bounced emails. I'am trying to prevent bouncing emails off of servers, but there are more emails then I can handle manually.

The only solution is to install EZbounced, then send out a mass mailing and process the bounces one by one. On large board this will take months. Even if you are able to share the burden.

IMO its a big design flaw, not to have any solution for this in vb.

Alternatively you could hire a coder to create a solution. I'd chip in...
