I use GoDaddy Also, It's a great company. All of the domains I have ever bought were from there.

    Name.com - Domain Name Registration

Works well for me. In Colorado and they answer their phone.

There website does not show it too well but the prices are decent, free whois, and great customer service.

I recon GOdaddy is probably one of the best domain registers. I'd go with them.

    The Problem With GoDaddy

    Sum It Up:

    • Over Priced
    • Little Stability
    • Poor Security
    • Horrible Customer Service
    • Spends Millions on advertisement, what about usability.

Until now, I've never had a problem with GoDaddy. I can vouch that their customer support is horrible. I've recently had to deal with them quite a bit and I was continually aggravated by their responses. They seem to not even read my entire inquiry, so their response usually barely answers my question if at all.

I can completely agree to the last three, Randy. The first one from personal experience, unfortunately. I believe Lynne has first-hand experience with this problem as well.

I don't like GoDaddy's interface and I would rather not send my money to a proponent of torture, so I try to avoid GoDaddy whenever possible. Unfortunately I'm stuck with them a little while longer, recently bought some domains that can't be transferred until after they're renewed.

    This sounds familiar to me.

I've got 1 hosting account still with them for static file storage only, when that expires I'll get a new account somewhere else.

From what I've heard from just about everyone, GoDaddy hosting is complete trash.

Thats because they target domains not web hosting.
