Adsense crawler errors

I'm getting adsense crawler errors for one of my sites - some of them are from threads that are moved, but often I see totally random sites (probably scrapers). I'd like to fix these errors and get my revenue optimization score up.

Has anyone tried the adsense site authorization setting, and if so will it fix my problem? I read that the ads will still show on rogue sites, but no revenue will be generated - my guess is that the errors will continue.
