I have no idea what's wrong with Chrome, but every time I use it, it slows my computer down. And it drives me insane because I really like the way Chrome works. Anyone one know what might be wrong with Google Chrome?

There is an update service that runs when you start it. It hogs memory. That's why I stopped using it.

But what do you mean 'slows' down? Do you mean after Chrome has closed the computer is still slow (Windows you're using - I presume)? Or during using Chrome?

I found out what was wrong guys, the video card went bad. I took the video card out and I am running the onboard video and the computer is 100% faster. It's as fast as the day I bought it. And chrome works fine now.

If Chrome is messing around a suggestion is using Opera. Opera is also a very fast and stable internet browser.

Id say Chrome (one that runs under Windows) can slow you down a bit. In fact the more stuff ike bookmarks, addons etc you have the slower Chrome works. If you want to use Chrome flawlessly, install Linux. From there - Chrome runs at fullspeed no matter how many addons do we have.......
