Do you prefer virtual or pen and paper planning? I have utilized them both, and I use a combination of the two. I feel like the act of writing helps me solidify the plans that I am building. I also like to draw blueprints of my ideas so I can see how they would interact with each other. I do keep some of my information digital, mostly for records. What about you?

I also incorporate both. Usually pen and paper for first drafts (or when I get tired of staring at a screen), and digital when things get complicated.

I tend to lose things I write down on paper. The solution I found was to write down what I was contemplating and then scan it to my computer. Why write it down and type it on the computer? You can just scan that piece of paper and save time.

I don't mean both as in write the same thing down that I typed on the computer. My brain seems to work differently when I am writing compared to when I am using a computer. Some ideas develop better with pen and paper, where other ideas develop better through typing or computing. I use them to compliment each other, not to repeat the same thing twice.

I prefer the traditional pen and paper planning. I feel like the agendas are more absorbed by my brain when I do that. Digital is okay but I find it more efficient if I do things tangibly especially when it comes to planning stuff.

I combine both as well. I usually make some sketches or whatever on a piece of paper, and later it make it in a digialtized shape, for easier understanding. I love an organized workspace, so my documents are always sorted out.

Usually both for me. I flesh out ideas in Notepad then make smaller more manageable to do lists on legal pads.

I'm going to be perfect perfectly forthcoming with this answer, I'm a bit old school like to use old school pen and paper. I think it's a great day to be able to map out your ideas on my back when you're able to actually sit down and use a pencil or pen in a piece of paper visualize exactly how you like it take a product or service to come out. I know there quite a few online entrepreneurs who are able to use project management software and map out their forum or site overnight by just pulling up information from keywords for long tail word or however they set up to do it. I like to know exactly what I'm going into before I go through the process of putting that idea out there into the world and putting my name on it. I think it's important to perfect the idea before it is seen by others. I have loads and loads of papers all over the place with ideas and concepts that are going to be turned into sites with revenue options. Until that day, I intend to continue to write down my ideas and put them into the project management software that utilize on a daily basis Virtual Assistant . I'm the type of person who gets overly excited walking into an office supply store so I can sincerely say that using a computer to organize everything or using a virtual pen to write on certain things don't quite take the cake like writing something down on a a piece of paper and being able to ball it up and start over. I'm the type who likes to walk into another room, use that notebook and kind of have a feel for the paper to take myself to the level where I'm able to really dig into whatever concepts I might have going to be able to knock the competitor of water.

On a related note, I am old fashion and still carry around a pocket notebook and pen with me... I always come up with new forum post title ideas and blog post subject ideas. I write them down for later. I seriously have about 8 notebooks FULL of ideas front and back. Now what I do is I save those notebooks for a rainy day. If I get blogger's block or admin's block, I use the notebooks as alternative topic ideas. If I am in a creative mood, I save them for when I am not and continue to come with ideas on my own. It works!

All my planning is digital. I use a on-screen notepad and ms.paint to draw up ideas.
