Are you losing it Paul, not used to people who are unafraid of you or not impressed by you?

Strange how so many other people all over the internet are posting similar things about the actions of the VB team and staff, obviously they seem to think it makes sense.
Perhaps we do not have to rely on praising the childish antics of VB management for our pay, so we are free to tell the truth as we see it.

You're posting a bunch of useless, half-truthed, nonsensical rambling bullshit about vBulletin because you have a problem with one of the many volunteer staff there on his own site, where he is free to run it any way he so chooses.
Unless someone posted child porn or other content I have an ethical obligation to report, I don't give a [****][****][****][****]. What I do care about is people going out of their way to be douchebags to Paul, who hasn't done anything to anyone other than perhaps be curt. Responding to countless instances of stupid shit that is either in the TOS and FAQ or that is atopical and irrelevant would have that effect on most people at some point. You show me where the IB terms of employment require Paul to act like shiny happy people sucking customer's dicks and I'll agree you have a point. You show me where the IB terms of employment require Joe to run his site according to the terms and conditions set by vBulletin customers and I'll agree you have a point. Because all you have to this point is some lame [****][****][****][****]ing idea that being a "customer" is some entitlement to treat people who don't answer to your every beckon call like second class citizens. You didn't sign a customer agreement with Paul or with Joe. You signed it with Jelsoft or Internet Brands. This is like me bitching at some $8 an hour customer service tech at Microsoft because I don't like the core script of Windows 8. It's insulting, demeaning, and a waste of the valuable time and resources of people who are there to help customers, not to take their shit.

    I guess I hit a nerve when I said
Oh dear me. Does this mean I am off your Christmas card list now?

No, I think some of us are sick of hearing the same attacking shit over and over and over...........get over it and yourself while you're at it.
I'm not sure why I even open these threads.......they all turn into this "gotta get my truth out" kind of crap.

There is a simple solution to you not hearing the complaints over and over again. You and Paul can do something about the abuse members and prospective members are subjected to on the VB forum. You two seem to have some pull over there so why not do something constructive for the VB community. You are either part of the solution or part of the problem. Long time users and owners and prospective users and owners are pissed at the cyber bullying coming from staff. Power tripping with their control over those who ask a simple question or express an opinion they don't like by censoring and stifling input.

You both know it's happening, people everywhere are talking about it and it's stopping people from buying or renewing. It's all over the VB forum like some kind of parasite. And it's all being inflicted on the general public by the support staff.

I think some of you are missing the point. Everyone who works for Vbulletin, must do what they are told by management to do, or they could risk losing their job or even worse if they have signed contracts of employment. The people you all are attacking are really nice people who are doing their best within the limits that have been placed upon them via their bosses. I know most people would say they dislike the current theme of Vbulletin staff, which is usually delete threads, no comment, or whatever else you seem to think they are doing.

You have to understand they have jobs and can only do so much within their jobs. I notice a lot of people are talking to them like they are free to act and do what they want, but I am sure that is not the case. I understand the negative attitude towards the company and the nasty taste in your mouths, but try to keep it respectful. This as always is just my opinion, but @Paul M has always been very helpful when he can..I think he is good people..

@ Autopilot, Thank you for your clear post. You are spot on with what you say.

Some people feel happier swallowing the lies and propaganda, and get upset when jolted out of their comfort zone with the truth being posted, this is their choice, but the truth will always come out.
You can see exactly what is happening. Good post.

@Cerberus : I respect your coming to these peoples defense but having personally suffered without reason at the keyboard of several of these so called support staff I can tell you that ones own integrity and dignity and wonton abuse of your fellow members should never be sacrificed for the sake of the almighty dollar. If these people have a lick of decency as you seem to think they do, then they should stand up to their superiors if they are being directed to treat other like shit. If they don't then it would suggest they condone and enjoy what they are being directed to do.

And for the life of me I can't seem to find any reason or justification why IB/VB upper powers would direct their underlings to treat the general public in such a manner that turns others off from purchasing or updating. Are they (the upper powers) deliberately trying to sabotage the progress of the program and improve the the profit margin? Seems to me after several years of an exhaustive and expensive law suite they would be bending over backwards to promote sales rather than run people off.

Personally I refuse to use the software now because it would or could suggest to anyone visiting my site that I support and condone cyber abuse.

@Big al, I find it disgusting that many of those people have no rational excuse for their conduct but think that a rebuttal of personal attacks on anothers opinion and personal experience or integrity somehow makes them right.

No we do not THINK it is happening we SEE it happening and some of us have been subjected to it.

So is the management ordering them to delete posts, ban members (customers) and follow up with sarcastic derogatory comments? or is it the staff who are doing this off their own bat?

I applaud the help that Paul has given to the customers and I thank him for this, but he is one of the main instigators of what has been accurately described as
Most of the members on vb.org are admins of their various forums NOT noobs, and as such are aware of when they are being put down.
And it is NOT unreasonable for them to expect a certain amount of respect from those whose wages they ultimately pay.

Deleting their posts and censoring genuine comments as well as banning for asking about things has to stop, if Vb wants people to stay with them as paying customers.

The proof that this is NOT happening is shown by the numbers of customers who are moving to VB's competitors where they will probably be treated fairly as paying customers.

@ Autopilot. I thank you not only for your support, but for posting in a clearer way than I can about the way that VB customers are being treated.
I have found that if one posts the truth it sometimes rattles some people and as result they do their best to portray the one who posted the facts as crazy. ( See the lawyers posts )

This is a tactic I have had to put up with for over six years by some scammer scum that I exposed, and now Joe is joining them.
As a staff member on VB this causes me concern about how much information he has about customers and what he intends to do with it.
Sadly he has already been reported for posting confidential information in public.

What is worrying is the attitude of the support staff and their hangers on.
After seeing first hand, their past actions, how can we trust them to do the right thing if they are failing so badly currently?

Err, I know this probably sounds crazy, but wasn't part of Paul M's vBulletin contract that he wouldn't be censored or told what to say by vBulletin? I definitely remember hearing that somewhere, so it'd theoretically mean the 'under contract for vBulletin' thing doesn't have much truth in it.

Fixed. And it does make us right. Having an opinion isn't having a point. He has no point.

    The real quote
The edited fabricated quote by ProSportsForum
Fixed? The only thing you fixed was the impression in my mind you will do anything unethical to distort the facts and present your fabrication as reality. Not surprised as this conduct is typical and gives all those you represent a bad name. Fraudster.

I have no problem with others disagreeing with my opinion and on many occasions when presented with adult discussion have changed my opinion but you sir ( I use that term lightly) have just fortified all that I and others have said. I suspect your problem may be coded in this line of yours

You know what cured my problems with vBulletin.com staff and the forum software? Telling them how shitty they are and then leaving for better software.

It is better than what this thread is accomplishing.

With all the above BS aside...

With the way vb.com and vb.org operate, how many are lining up for the planned vBulletin hosting service. :D

You obviously have me confused with someone that works for vbulletin. I do not work for them and never have. As a long time user and owner, the solution that worked for me was to move back to IPB.

Not confused at all. You said
and I was just offering an alternative. If more people, though it might be useless, spoke out about what they see going on instead of cutting their loses, it might make a difference. If people like Paul who have an inside track spend more time working on behalf of the consumers interests and spoke up about what is going on instead of defending the abuse and mismanagement, changes can be affected.
