It looks quite interesting on iOS (not sure about other platforms). The UI is actually GOOD (I thought the UI on the old Tapatalk was pretty bad). Now if push notifications work well, we might have a winner. :)

Tapatalk I am not a fan of at all. So I don't think I would be a fan of Tapatalk 2.

    forum runner > Tapatalk

Ya... The reason Tapatalk 2 seems interesting to me is because I didn't care for Tapatalk myself until the new version.

Is Tapatalk 2 available for the non-branded (free) version?

No... Tapatalk 2 is the normal no-branded version at least in iOS.

I'll have to check it out, it looks like a good app though.

I never liked Tapatalk, it was always slow and kept crashing and looked awful. The new UI does look better though and if I hear a few more positive comments I may start using them again as I need a way to post on forums on my mobile still.

It hasn't crashed for me yet. The fact that I'm even using it speaks huge because I've *tried* to use the old Tapatalk, Forum Runner, vBulletin Mobile, etc... Hated them all and never used them beyond testing them out. Tapatalk 2 I'm actually using... Push notifications work great/seamlessly as well.

Apparently it supports "Like" notices via push too. Let's see if it supports uploading pics.

Wow... Not only supports pics, has filters like Instagram if you want.

They have put a lot of polish on this.

It does seem a lot better than the previous versions.

Same here. I had Tapatalk 1 on iOS and my kindle but didn't care for it a whole lot. Tapatalk 2 on my SII is really nice.

Yeah... was just responding to someone else who said it crashed for them (for me, I'm on iOS and haven't had any issues).

That might of been solved in version 2. In v1 or whatever it was I had the issues.
