    vBulletin 4.1.7 Beta 1 is now available for download from your members area.

    vBulletin 4.1.7 release focuses on bug fixes and contains updates to the core vBulletin software.

    Please note:
    • We do not provide support for Beta versions
    • We do not recommend Beta software to be installed on production sites.
    • We always recommend that you back up your database fully before attempting to install Beta software.

    Again, thank you to everyone who has filed bugs in our bug tracker, we sincerely appreciate your assistance - and we hope with this release that we have addressed a large number of the bugs that you have raised.

    weird, it wasn't at all for me
    first time I've seen that

    anyways, back on topic...

    I think it's odd that vbulletin is issuing beta downloads in the middle of major releases. O.o

    Yea I agree, I never liked how they gave out updates. The betas are very annoying.

    Betas should always be just for BETA testers/QA teams RCs should be the ones that become available to the public to test themselves...At least then you can be sure that you shouldn't get major issues with the BETA...
