stories and games odd

    In the stories and games section there seems to be one topic "stuck" at the top. On the main page the date changes, but the 'last poster' references the stuck topic.

    Hiya,

    That is a 'bumped up' topic. What this means, is that it is was temporarily (or in this case permanently) moved to the top of the list by a moderator.

    I 'bumped' it back down to it's normal position, I really didn't see a reason for it to be permanent. . All should be normal now.

    Yep, I'd bumped it in an attempt to get it going a bit, and keep it from being lost down in the depths of that forum...was going to de-bump it in a couple of days anyway.

    ohhhhh. I guess I can see where that could be a valuable thing to do. On the other hand, sometimes I go cruising thru the main page and when I see that someone in particular has the last post I check it out first, so the bumping could be misleading in that sense. Is there a way to identify a bumped up topic as just that?
