Hi, I recently joined admin-talk.com. Glad to be here! I just launched a site that is focused on Food Bloggers. Its built on vB4, which if you've read my other posts, I've had second thoughts about. I've decided to stick with it. Here are the fruits of my labor:

    FoodBlogLife.com

I'm looking forward to any constructive feedback you might have. Thanks!

I like the home page, I like how the sliders work up top.
Good looking logo as well, nice look all around.
The site was loading a bit slow for me, but it could be my internet?

Thanks for the kudos Brandon. Not sure why it would be slow, vb4 perhaps? I have yet to do any optimization to the site. Seems ok to me though.

I'm not sure why it would have been slow either, but I do see it's missing an image that's being called somewhere.

For me it's very fast loading (1-1.4sec)

    Feedback: Nice design, but
    • i would customize the node icons
    • and think about another color for the "go to last post" icon .
It's IMO too dominant/bright/garishly(lol can't find the word what i'm searching for on google translate:D )

@Brandon Thanks for the heads up on that one.
@ragtek Thanks for your feedback. Whats funny is I've never clicked on that last post icon haha. I could see making it a lighter orange but overall I like the contrast of the orange against the light blue.

    Broken images are no bueno.
Check out FireBug, it's an extension for firefox, or if you use IE {shrudder} hit F12 and it'll bring up the debug option.

Check that out as your viewing your site and you can see exactly what's being called.
