Before officially creating AdminBB, I had plans to create an Admin Forum, so I chose two simple terms Admin & BB. I took my time to come up with a great name, and as you can see its very short, simple, and has great keywords.

BB Stands for "Bulletin Board" which is another meaning of "forum", BB is a very common term in the forum world. So in full AdminBB stands for Admin BulletinBoard, which also means Admin Forum.

How did you come up with the name of your website? What does it mean?

Was looking for a domain web related and played Mortal Kombat earlier that day. Came up with Web Goro and it sounded good to me.

Well, the psychology aspect came because that's my major and I hope to become a professional psychologist one day. The writing pat came in because it was going to be a writing forum and I wanted "writing" or "writer" in the title. So, it became "Psychology of Writing."

My community was originally a directory of pet game links, and RPG links, henece the name virtual pet list.

But, its now a community, and contains a lot more content than it has ever been.

Ya, it does. Our competitors have different names, but our community is the largest[traffic wise], and activity wise. We usually have the most online - because our name is a brand - and is known by a lot of people. We had 3k members before. I like the name a lot. :)

Also "list" can also mean a forum as a forums is a list of sections and what not. And good to know, my forum beats the competitor traffic wise as well. I have proof.

That's always a great thing - hard workers always come out on top. This community is more active than an admin forum I know with 30k posts, you guys have more users online as well.

The Voice Internet Radio is the name of the radio station and forum, but they both got named at the same time, so it's not like one was influenced by the other. I chose "The Voice" because a voice has to do with sound/music, but it also has to do with users lending their "voice" to what songs we play, since the community has (and will have even more) options to influence what gets played. :)

It was late on a day in January this year. I decided to make a general discussion forum and something not opposite to comedy. I asked 2 friends and they kept saying loads of names till I chose Life's Circle.. It was very hard, though

I guess its meaning is obvious :)

Not bad, guess it fits well for a general forum.

My forum's name is "Job Me" I almost titled it Employ Me but sounded ugly. A few days after I created Job Me. The title is a bit self explanatory but is like give me a job!

Always used BB before I'ce had RestrictedBB AdviceBB etc etc but now I use mingleBB.

My community is about general chit chat and banter so I thought mingle was cool because it meant to come together and mix together and suggest a social function so I thought it was a pretty cool name.
